Cape Fear Regional Theatre
Since 1962, Cape Fear Regional Theatre (CFRT) has passionately worked to bring high quality live theatre experiences to Fayetteville, NC and the broader region. What began as a small group of local actors has evolved into one of the finest theatres in the state. As an emerging professional theatre with a national reputation, CFRT now features a three-story complex with a 309-seat main stage and contract actors, writers, and designers from throughout the country. Our six-show mainstage season and robust education and outreach programs serve over 42,000 audience members a year from all ages and varying socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds including nearly 7,000 students from around the region. CFRT is also a proud Blue Star Theatre and committed to engaging our military community, specifically those at Fort Bragg, to our theatre. All aspects of our work are inspired by our motto and our promise: Great Stories Told Here. We believe in the power of storytelling and the visceral impact of live theatre. We strive for the highest standards of excellence in our artistic work, educational offerings, and outreach efforts. And, we provide the region a place to come together to laugh harder, think deeper, share experiences, and grow as a community.
Cape Fear Regional Theatre will present student matinees and evening performances of Henry V directed by Artistic Director tom Quaintance, as part of their Actors on the Go program. The company will provide related educational activities, including workshops, post-show talkbacks, backstage tours, and a study guide. They anticipate reaching 15 schools located in North Carolina.
