June 16, 2015 - Arts Midwest Announces 2015–2016 Shakespeare in American Communities Grants

Arts Midwest today announced $1 million in grants to 40 nonprofit, professional theater companies across 26 states, plus the District of Columbia, to perform the works of William Shakespeare for students through Shakespeare in American Communities. The awards mark the thirteenth consecutive year of Shakespeare in American Communities, a national program managed by Arts Midwest in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

June 27, 2014 - Arts Midwest Announces 2014–2015 Shakespeare in American Communities Grants

Arts Midwest today announced $1 million in grants to 40 nonprofit, professional theater companies across 25 states, plus the District of Columbia, to perform the works of William Shakespeare for students through Shakespeare in American Communities. The awards mark the twelfth consecutive year of Shakespeare in American Communities, a national program managed by Arts Midwest in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

June 26, 2013 - Arts Midwest Announces 2013–2014 Shakespeare in American Communities Grants

Arts Midwest today announced $1 million in grants to 40 nonprofit, professional theater companies in 21 states, plus the District of Columbia, to perform Shakespeare for students through Shakespeare in American Communities. The awards mark the eleventh consecutive year of this national program, managed by Arts Midwest in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). Performances will take place between August 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014.

July 24, 2012 - Arts Midwest Announces 2012–2013 Shakespeare for a New Generation Grants
Arts Midwest today announced more than $1 million in grants to 42 nonprofit, professional theater companies in 24 states plus the District of Columbia to perform Shakespeare for students through Shakespeare for a New Generation. These awards mark the tenth consecutive year of Shakespeare in American Communities, a national program managed by Arts Midwest in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). Performances will take place between August 1, 2012, and June 30, 2013.

May 17, 2011 - National Endowment for the Arts Chairman Rocco Landesman Announces 2011-2012 Shakespeare for A New Generation Grants
